Just in case you come
but once to this amazing continent, take time to know both of its traditional
safari lands. This trip gives you an unhurried taste of the region that
sprawls along the border between Tanzania and Kenya, which is all one
kingdom to the herds that migrate back and forth. The journey is beautifully
balanced. It takes you deep into nature with many ways to experience it
(on wheels, on foot, on horseback, from the air). It gives you an opportunity
to visit a traditional village and school so you can make a personal connection
with African families and children. And, with a rich mix of accommodations,
it takes you far beyond tourist experiences to show you an Africa that
will steal your heart.

- Ngorongoro Crater in Maasai country is a caldera formed 3 million
years ago by the collapse of an immense volcano. Falling ash created
rich soil and grasslands that are home to wildebeest, zebra, buffalo,
and the lions and hyenas that hunt them.
- Tarangire National Park has some of the largest elephant herds in East Africa. The range of ecosystems provides great diversity for viewing species.
- Campi ya Kanzi
is a small private lodge on tribal land-no more than 12 guests
at a time. You will appreciate the European touch of your hosts,
Luca Belpietro and Antonella Bonomi, as you enjoy unhurried opportunities
to get to know them and the Maasai staff. While at Campi ya Kanzi
you experience micro-economic development at work. Campi ya Kanzi
guests have the exclusive use of the Kuku Group Ranch, opening
up a unique opportunity to experience the real African wilderness.
You see your tourist dollars going directly to the tribal council
to support the local school and dispensary. As privileged guests
of the tribal council, you are taken through the village and into
the school. The reception you receive will change the way you
understand Africa.
- Maasai Mara.
At any time of year, the wildlife viewing in this northern section of the Serengeti is superb. A good place
to observe lions, cheetahs, leopards and other predators.
