Global Service Corps

Global Service Corps operates in Tanzania teaching bio-intensive agriculture to families living near Arusha.  Bio-intensive agriculture is a much more viable option for most rural Tanzanians than is chemical-based farming, which requires chemicals and fertilizers and is not sustainable.  Bio-intensive agriculture is organic, involving double-dug beds, organic compost, crop diversification, and water harvesting.  Visit Global Services headquarters in Arusha and then spend the day out on community farms visiting directly with local folks in Arusha.
