Deeper Africa is the official United States Representative for the East African Wildlife Society (EAWLS). Because our support for EAWLS runs deep, we honor each guest who travels with Deeper Africa with a year long EAWLS membership.




Tanzanian Minister Meghji awarded Deeper Africa the 2005 Tour  Operator Tourism Award at a gala dinner in Nairobi, Kenya on May 17, 2005. Deeper Africa is recognized in Tanzania for its work in support of low-volume, low-impact tourism that benefits communities and nourishes wildlife habitat. Karen Zulauf, one of Deeper Africa’s founding Directors, accepted the award on behalf of the company.
